JAMMU, July 21: A minor girl died after being hit by a piece of rock, which rolled down Trikuta hills en-route the cave shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi in Katra belt of Reasi district.
As per police sources, Vidushi (9), daughter of Rakesh Kumar, resident of Uttar Pradesh, who was on a pilgrimage to the cave shrine in Trikuta hills along with her family, was hit by a piece of rock, which slides from the hill top due to landslides near Sanjichat today.
She died due to head injury. Her body has been handed over to family members after completion of legal formalities.
