JAMMU, June 12: All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC), expressed its concern over some self-styled leaders, trying to play with community cause by taking it for granted.
In a statement issued here, today ASKPC president Advocate Ravinder Raina, cautioned the community members to be vigilant against these elements who have no locus stand in the community and who are killing the cause of KPs. ASKPC, stands firm and rejects any attempt of reconciliation with anti-national elements who were responsible for Pandits exodus and there can be no compromise between perpetrators of genocide and victim of genocide, Raina in a hard hitting statement added.
Furthermore ASKPC condemned the news report of one of the national TV channels that, pooja of holy spring at Tulmulla starts only after Muslims perform Jal Abhishek and then Kashmiri Pandits start religious pooja which is wholly untrue and self-cooked story which has hurt the sentiments of entire Kashmiri community. It demanded unconditional apology for such hurtful and false news report.
Dr. T.K Bhat, general secretary, ASKPC, said that the present Government at the Centre is moving in the right direction and is initiating measures to destroy the Jihadi and separatist movement in Kashmir. At this time Pandits are supposed to be alert to thwart any reconciliation move by some vested interests who have sinister agenda to promote subversive activities which could prove disastrous for our mission of achieving our goal of rehabilitation. Furthermore, ASKPC demanded two Parliament seats and four Assembly seats in exile, as this political reservation can pave way to save future of our next generation of Kashmiri Pandits.
Meanwhile, All Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AMCCC) in its meeting here today has also taken serious exception to some Delhi based socalled KP activists for visiting the residence of Hurriyat leaders in a bid to have reconciliation with those forces responsible for genocide of community.
AMCCC president, Desh Rattan while criticizing them said there should be no reconciliation with those who waged a war with nation and were responsible for genocide of the community. He warned such people and said that they have no mandate to talk on behalf of community with any one.
Rattan said Kashmir belongs to Pandits and they will return to Valley on their terms and conditions and not on the whim and fancies of Hurriyat leadership who are traitors and responsible for 30 year long bloodshed in Valley.
