Arvind Gupta inaugurates lane, drain works worth Rs 25 lakh in Ward 13

JAMMU, May 2: Continuing his unwavering commitment to grassroots development and public welfare, MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta, today inaugurated newly constructed lane and drain works in Ward No. 13 of the Jammu West Assembly constituency.
The project, executed at an estimated cost of Rs 25 lakh, is aimed at significantly improving basic civic infrastructure in the area. The upgraded lane and drainage system will not only enhance accessibility but also ensure better sanitation, thereby contributing to the convenience, health, and dignity of local residents.
Speaking on the occasion, Arvind Gupta reiterated his dedication to ensuring holistic and sustained development across Jammu West. He emphasized that strengthening core infrastructure remains a top priority and assured residents of continued efforts to address public needs efficiently and promptly.
The inauguration ceremony was conducted in the presence of Mandal vice president, Sonu Manhas, Mandal general secretary, Mohit Vaid, along with Arun Sharma, Rajesh Kumar, and Pappu Malhotra. Officials from the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), including the concerned Junior Engineer (JE), as well as the executing contractor, were also present.
Residents of Ward No. 13 warmly welcomed the initiative and expressed their gratitude. One of the residents stated, “This development was a long-pending demand of our locality. The new lane and drainage system will greatly improve our daily lives, especially during the rainy season. We are thankful to Arvind Gupta Ji for addressing our concerns and ensuring timely execution of this work.”
They said the completion of this project stands as a testament to the proactive leadership of Arvind Gupta and reinforces the vision of inclusive growth, improved civic amenities, and enhanced quality of life for all residents of Jammu West.
