Doda, June 4: Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Doda Kuldeep Singh along with Motor Vehichle Inspector Jasbir Singh and other officials of MVD Doda launched an extensive checking drive on National High way 244 and challaned number of vehichles for violating various provisions of Motor Vehicles Act and Traffic laws.
The main focus was High Security Registration Plate (HSRP), Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificates, overloading and deficiency in necessary documents.
The drive was launched in the early morning. The ARTO Doda besides challanning, warned the commuters to follow traffic laws and always drive in safe speed. He further asked them to ensure fitment of HSRP to their vehichles and have pollution under control certificates and other documents in order before plying vehichles on public roads.
