JAMMU, Mar 21: The art works of Jang S Verman, a well known Jammu based artist will be displayed in ‘Individual Expressions 02’ – a group Exhibition of Paintings, Prints and Sculptures by Sweden and Indian artists at Birla Academy of Art & Culture, Kolkata, from March 31 to April 5.
Twenty well known artists from Sweden and India will display their talent in the Exhibition being curated by a well known Chandigarh based artist- Prabhinder Lall who is a Senior Fellowship holder.
Jang S Verman will display his works in an innovative technique developed by him and termed as ‘NoPaint Images’. In this technique he finds some unknown images and moulds them into purposeful images with meaningful ideas.
Verman is popularly known as inveterate experimenter in the field of visual arts. No paints or such pigments are used in these images.
