Sir,
The employees appointed under New Pension Scheme (NPS) were not paid the salary from October 2014 because the Govt did not release the matching grant and salary grant till March 2015. After raising the issue in the media, the Govt thus released matching grant at the fag end of the previous financial year, as a result their salary bills were prepared by the DDOs and presented in the treasuries for drawal but unfortunately the Govt failed to provide cash in the bank. The bills are still pending for want of funds as such we and other employees appointed under New Pension Scheme (NPS) have not been paid salary arrear pertaining to the period from the month of October 2014 to February 2015.
We, therefore appeal to the Govt to release adequate funds to the DDOs of Education, Rural Development and all other departments to enable them to draw and pay the salary arrears at the earliest possible convenience.
