JAMMU, Mar 28: For smooth conduct of grand Rath/ Shobha Yatra on the upcoming Shree Ram Navami as per past practice, Jammu & Kashmir Dharmarth Trust, Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Dharmik Yuvak Mandal, and other religious organizations discussed arrangements in this regard.
A joint meeting was held at the central office of J&K Dharmarth Trust on Shalamar Road, Jammu wherein various aspects for smooth conduct of the Shobha Yatra were discussed.
Brig (Retd) R S Langeh, President of the Trust, and Ashok Kumar Sharma (SSP- Retd), Secretary of the Trust, chaired the meeting in which members of the Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Dharmik Yuvak Mandal, and other religious organizations were present.
The Trust President sought the continuous support of the organizations in ensuring the smooth conduct of the Shobha Yatra and requested people to lend their support to the event. He urged the people of Jammu to participate in the Shoba Yatra and come together to celebrate this auspicious occasion with harmony and joy.
The Secretary informed that this year, the traditional route of the Shoba Yatra would be slightly changed due to ongoing construction works at Raghunath Bazar. He informed that the Rath Yatra shall start from the Shree Raghunath Ji Temple complex and pass through Residency Road, Rajinder Bazar, Kanak Mandi, City Chowk, Purani Mandi, Link Road, Jain Bazar, Chowk Chabutra, Pacca Danga, Moti Bazar, Gita Bhawan, Ranbireshwar Temple, Shalamar Road, Indra Chowk, Hari Market, and finally culminate at Raghunath Ji Temple. He also appealed to the District Administration to provide all possible support to make this Yatra a grand success.
