Around 650 pilgrims pay obeisance at Machail Mata shrine

JAMMU, Aug 29: Around 650 pilgrims have paid obeisance at Chandi Mata Dham today.
As per official data, a total of 2,25,488 pilgrims including 96,695 males, 83,227 females, 45,421 children and 145 sadhus have paid obeisance at the shrine till date since the commencement of Yatra on July 25, this year. Today, 655 pilgrims paid obeisance at Chandi Mata Dham.
The number is increasing considerably as a huge number of pilgrims are still reaching Kishtwar and Gulabgarh, the base camp of the shrine, everyday.
Tight security arrangements have been made by the administration for the convenience of the devotees visiting the revered shrine of Machail Mata.
