Around 2.25 lakh pilgrims pay obeisance at Chandi Mata Dham

JAMMU, Aug 28: Around 2.25 lakh pilgrims have paid obeisance at Chandi Mata Dham at Machail since the commencement of yatra in the last week of July.
As per official data, a total of 2,24,833 pilgrims including 96,444 males, 83,005 females, 45,240 children and 144 sadhus have paid obeisance at the shrine till date since the commencement of Yatra on July 25, this year. Today, 1363 pilgrims paid obeisance at Chandi Mata Dham.
The number is increase considerably as a huge number of pilgrims are still reaching Kishtwar and Gulabgarh, the base camp of the shrine, everyday.
Tight security arrangements have been made by the administration for the convenience of the devotees visiting the revered shrine of Machail Mata.
