JAMMU, Dec 19: With the objective of educating the children about hygiene and sanitation and healthcare issues in day to day life, Army today organized a lecture at Government Middle School, Danna.
The lecture was delivered by a Medical Officer of the local Territorial Army (Home and Health) Battalion under Romeo Force.
About 55 students and five teachers from Danna School attended the lecture with full zeal and enthusiasm.
The children were educated on various issues like dental care, personal hygiene, sanitation and waste disposal. Teachers and students were also briefed that improving the habits and hygiene will eradicate common diseases from the society.
