UDHAMPUR, Apr 2: In an apparent case of suicide, a young housewife was found hanging from ceiling fan hook in Army family quarter at Jib Morh, Udhampur.
According to the police reports, Priyanka (22), wife of Havildar Sandeep Kumar of Haryana, presently putting up at Army family quarters, Jib Morh Udhampur, was found hanging from ceiling fan hook under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed, Police rushed to the spot and took the dead body in its custody. The dead body was then sent to District Hospital Udhampur for postmortem and other legal formalities.
Police has registered a case at Rehambal Police Station for further investigation. Prima facie it appear to be the case of suicide.
