Army holds medical camp

Srinagar, June 17: Army today said they conducted a mega medical camp for the rural belt of district Budgam as part of Operation Sadhbhavana.
A defence spokesman said a joint medical team of Army from the Departments of Gynecology, Surgery, Medicine and Dental were available to about 807 patients and 124 dental patients.
“A comprehensive lecture on drug de-addiction was delivered by the experts from Red Cross Society.  This medical camp also included blood donation by 39 Army jawans and 12 volunteer civilians for the blood banks of Shri Maharaja Hari Singh and Lalla Ded Hospitals,” the spokesman said.
