SRINAGAR, Mar 26: Army today claimed to have doused a fire in a village Kupwara district.
An Army spokesman said a house of Farooq Ahmed Bhat of Zarhama caught fire early morning on Tuesday.
He said the residents approached nearest Army Camp located at Zarhama for help.
“Army troops rushed to the spot with all the available fire extinguishers to control the raging fire from spreading to other nearly houses and any major loss of life or property,” the spokesman said.
