SRINAGAR, Nov 1: Army today flagged off 14 day educational-cum-motivational tour to Pune comprising of 20 young students from a school on Wuzur in Valley today.
A defence spokesman said the students of Army Goodwill School along with a team of army consisting of teachers and administrative staff was flagged off from Wuzar camp.
The tour will entail visits to important military institutions like the National Defence Academy, College of Military Engineering, Armed Forces Medical College, Army Sports Institute and leading educational centres such as Fergusson and Symbiosis Colleges besides entertainment avenues like water parks and shopping malls.
The tour participants will also meet and interact with several Army and civil officials apart from closely interacting with the students of their age thus helping in a purposeful exchange of thoughts and ideas.
