Leh, Sept 14: A national integration tour was flagged off  from Nurla Military Camp under the aegis of 14 Corps today. The tour comprising of  two teachers and eighteen students from Leh-Ladakh region would be visiting Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
Army has always been a great catalyst of National Integration by bringing together people from remotest part of the country to the main stream by organising various programmes. National Integration Tour (NIT) is one such cornerstone under which the Army organises excursion for children living in interior places of Ladakh region  to move out of  hinterland and visit different parts of the country.
The children would get an opportunity to have an insight into historical significance of these heritage cities and experience the emergence of modernisation of developed cities. During the Sadbhavana tour, the children will also get opportunity to interact with high officials and dignitaries at various places.
