Srinagar, Apr 25: Army today claimed to have evacuated two critical patients from far off places in Kupwara to a hospital.
An Army spokesman claimed a pregnant woman, Harzia Banjo of Tsunwari village in Machhil area had developed serious complications and she was initially carried on a stretcher by the troops from Tsunwari to ZGali and then in an Army ambulance to District Hospital Kupwara.
In an another incident a two-year-old girl, Nameena Bano of Kitwar village in Machhil was critically ill and was evacuated on a stretcher by troops till ZGali and then taken to Kupwara in an ambulance.
