Srinagar, Apr 23: In a loving and affectionate gesture, the Commander of Wuzur based Rashtriya Rifles (RR) Sector, Brigadier AN Kukreti and his wife visited the children from Kashmir presently studying in Army Public School Beas under Army’s sponsorship to enquire about their wellbeing and take a first-hand account on their academic progress, a defence spokesman said here.
Expressing their delight at meeting the officer and his wife, the children shared their experiences in the school and committed them to striving hard to achieve their educational goals, the spokesman said. “They also told the couple of the care with which the faculty treated them and catered for their needs. The children extended their greetings to their families and friends in the Valley,” he said.
The spokesman said the school fraternity on its part, was all praises for the children from Kashmir who, they said, had adapted well to the institution’s curriculum and were very meaningful members of the school fraternity.
