Army distributes spectacles for visually impaired children

JAMMU, Oct 19: The Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhaderwah extended their voluntarily help to the officials of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan who organised a camp at Kamran Academy, Bhalla and Nagar Higher Secondary School, Bhaderwah.
The team from Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan distributed spectacles for visually impaired 59 children from Bhaderwah tehsil.
Kismat Singh, Chief Coordinator for Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and team provided their services with the help of Army. A large number of children from the far flung areas of Bhaderwah tehsil availed the benefit from the camp.
Kismat Singh Chief Coordinator expressed his thanks to Army for providing their support for the comfort and welfare of handicapped children and their relatives. This effort of the Army was appreciated by one and all and goodwill was thus generated among the residents towards the organisation.
The local population and district administration were grateful to the Army for their assistance to the team in terms of providing tentages, refreshment and providing related administrative help.
