POONCH, May 16: In its endeavour to serve the people of Poonch as also channelize the energies of the youth, the Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo) today conducted a 3-day ‘Personality Development Workshop’ at Government Polytechnic, Poonch. The workshop will conclude on May 18, 2013.
A total of 70 youth and 10 academic staff have been attending this 3-day event aimed towards shaping the personality of the youth to enable them to face the challenges of modern times.
The focus during the workshop is on overall development and transformation of an individual into a confident all rounded personality. The aspects covered include English Speaking, Social Graces and Facing Interview Boards etc.
Beside this the participants will also be prepared to face the pressure of today’s lifestyle through the medium of yoga and meditation. The workshop is being conducted by highly qualified and experienced team of instructors.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Mohd Zaman Choudhary, said that this initiative by Romeo Force and the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion will go a long way in preparing the youth for the fiercely competitive environment that awaits them once they move out of their colleges and institutes.
Giridhari Lal Sharma, Principal, Poonch Degree College, also informed the media that similar workshops will be held at a number of other schools and colleges of Poonch in the month of May and June 2013.
