Army airlifts patients

SRINAGAR, Apr 12: Army today claimed to have rescued four critical patients from various locations in Gurez, Bandipora.
An Army spokesman said they provided medical aid and airlifted two women along with a six-year-old boy from GG Sheik, Gurez to Government Hospital Bandipora.
“One of the women, Faiza Begum had developed serious complication in her pelvic while the boy had high fever for last 10 days,” the spokesman claimed.
He said that an 11-year-old girl, Safia daughter of Mukhtar Lone of Gurez who had seriously injured her knee was airlifted to Bandipora and further to Srinagar for treatment, and Mohd Afzal Lone, a resident of Malangam, Gurez had severe infection of urinary tract and was airlifted to Bandipora for treatment.
