Arms, explosives seized in Mahore

JAMMU, May 6: Troops of Rashtriya Rifles and police today recovered a large quantity of arms, ammunition and explosives during a search operation at village Khandi in Mahore area of Reasi district.
Recoveries made by the troops of Rashtriya Rifles and local police during a joint search operation included two AK-56 rifles, one magazine, 136 rounds of AK-56, five UBGL grenades, four hand grenades, one Chinese grenade, one pouch, seven detonators, one field dressing kit, one medicinal cream and one cordex cord, measuring five feet.
After effecting the recoveries, the RR and police conducted a joint search operation at the village. However, no arrests were made.
Police party headed by SDPO Mahore Mushim Ahmad Choudhary joined the operation and made the recoveries.
