MENDHAR, Jan 21: The dilapidated condition of roads in Ari village of Mendhar Sub Division is giving a tough time to the commuters.
Locals complained that the road stretch from Upper Ari to Chottain-Nakka which is considered a priority road, is in shambles. The road is dotted with potholes, which speaks volumes about the tall claims of the Government of improving road connectivity, the residents said. They said that same is the condition of other roads in the area.
The locals of Ari village-Zaheer Abbas, Nayaz Ahmed and Mahboob Ahmed said that the PWD has failed to undertake even minor repair work on this road. They said that the concerned authorities have failed to macadamize Ari village road. It is lying in dilapidated condition for the past several years.
The residents appealed the District administration Poonch to come to their rescue by addressing their problem and providing them better road connectivity in the area at the earliest.
