JAMMU, Nov 18: The State Government today terminated the contractual appointment of Prof Mushtaq Ahmad Peer as Consultant with immediate effect.
He was appointed Consultant on contractual basis by the State Government last year in December for a period of two years in order to facilitate fast track recruitment to non gazetted categories.
As Consultant, he was supposed to render expert guidance to the Government regarding Information Technology applications and computerization besides conducting tests for recruitment to non gazetted and class-IV posts through SSB for State, Divisional and Distt Recruitment Committees, Class IV recruitment committees or for any other recruitment as assigned to him by the Government.
