New Delhi, Sept 24: All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) today staged a protest followed by a candle march to pay homage to Uri and Handwara martyrs at Jantar Mantar here. The protestors mostly Kashmiri Hindus who have migrated from the Valley 27 years back burnt Pakistan flags and raised anti-Pakistan and anti-separatists slogans.
The protest was led by  Ravinder Pandita, head of APMCC Delhi – NCR. While addressing the gathering he demanded that State and Central governments should take stringent measures to combat growing terrorists attacks in the Valley.  ” We hope that peace prevails in the Valley and the tormentors are brought to book”, said Ravinder Pandita. The recent violence in Kashmir that has begun on July 8 after Burhan Wani’s killing has evoked a total protest across the Valley with separatists calling the shots. There is a complete social boycott with Kashmiri Hindus in the Valley who have been forced thus to leave their hearth and homes and save their lives. Kashmiri Pandits have time and again shown that they are true nationalists and have expressed full faith in the present government led by able Prime Minister  Narendra Modi.
Effigy of Pakistan was burnt by the protestors. APMCC activists also burnt Pakistani flags expressing their complete anguish.
Speaking on the occasion Sh. Vijay Raina  KSD president said that “the problem is grave in Kashmir right now and Government should not remain a silent spectator”.  Kundan Kashmiri of KPC said “We cannot see continued terror and killings of security forces’.  Later a memorandum was submitted to Prime Minister and  Home Minister.
