AP opposes divisive politics: Manjit

JAMMU, Sept 16: Apni Party (AP) provincial president Jammu, S. Manjit Singh has said that traditional political parties exploited the people as their vote bank by encouraging regional divide which is being strongly opposed by AP.
Speaking at a joining programme he said: “The people have faced a difficult time for the last seven decades in J&K because of divisive policies and agenda of traditional political parties. However, people are aware now and they prefer joining the AP as they know we never play with emotions and work for the unity of J&K and its integrity with the country.”
During the programme many Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) leaders and workers from women wing joined AP.
The joining programme was organized under the leadership of Manjit Singh.
Senior AP leaders Jyoti Devi, district president women wing rural from Block Marh, Neelam Gupta, Tamana Rani, Payal, Ratna Devi, Anita Devi, Raj Rani, Shikha and others joined AP.
Welcoming the new entrants into AP, Manjit Singh hoped that their joining would strengthen the party at the grass root level.
The joining programme was attended by provincial secretary, Dr. Rohit Gupta; State president SC wing, Bodh Raj Bhagat, State president Apni Trade Union, Ajaz Kazmi and others.
