KATHUA, Feb 13: Former MP and Minister Ch. Lal Singh today made it clear that anti India slogans will not be tolerated at any cost.
Addressing a public meeting of Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan (DSS) workers at Chhan Rhorian Hiranagar, today, Ch Lal Singh said that Dogras will now vote for decisive battle in Jammu and Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan will fight for the rights of the people of Jammu.
He called upon the Dogras to understand the apathy of successive governments both of the State and the Center who always treated the people of Jammu as a commodity and never bothered about the legitimate issues of Jammu. All the successive governments’ have ignored the interests and aspiration of the Dogras, he added.
Ch Lal Singh further said that the antinational elements in the prestigious college of the Jammu few days back raised anti India slogans and it again seems to be a deep routed conspiracy to destabilize the peaceful environment of the Jammu. The anti national people in Kashmir have supported the anti India slogans and tried to spark the issue by giving irresponsible statements in the form of tweets, he added.
He said the people of Jammu have always adjusted all the peoples and sharing all their recourses. He further said that our youth are the worst victims of the apathy of Government who are facing unemployment and it is the result that youth today is running out of Jammu with a begging bowl in different states or abroad for the livelihood.
Ch Lal Singh, while addressing the gathering said that, it is the failure of the Government that our region which is full of resources in the form of water, minerals, clay, Neelam etc. is devoid of basic facilities like electricity, drinking water, health and education.
He further said that said that, it is the high time for the people of Jammu to understand their worth and decide once for all the future of Jammu and support the vision of Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan.
Sarpanch Sanjeev Gupta, along with his team joined the Sangathan and extended full support to it.
KD Singh, Narinder Bhau, Pushpinder Singh, Vikas Gupta, along with the team of the Central body and district presidents was present during the programme.
