Anti-encroachment drive carried out

JAMMU, Oct 29: An anti-encroachment drive was carried out in Akhnoor market today.
The drive was carried out by SDPO Akhnoor Varun Jandial, SDM Akhnoor Gopal Singh, DySP Traffic Neeraj Padyar, Tehsildar Akhnoor Surinder Singh, SHO Akhnoor Inspector Ravi Singh Parihar and Satvir Singh, Municipality Officer.
Twelve defaulters were booked under wrong parking and fine worth Rs 25,000 was imposed.
Twenty defaulters were booked under Municipality Act and fined of Rs 43,000 was imposed on them.
