Anjuman holds protest against atrocities on Palestinians

JAMMU, May 22: On the last Friday of fasting month of Ramzaan a peaceful protest was held at Karbala Complex Head Office of Anjuman-e-Imamia here, today to show the solidarity with the oppressed Palestinians. Keeping in view the advisories issued by the Government during the pandemic COVID -19 all the norms were taken into consideration during the protest.
The protest was to mark the Al Qudds International Day which is observed by all the Muslims over the globe to show sympathy and solidarity with the Palestinians as it was declared in1978 by Imam Khomeini as a day of oppression and to raise a voice against the oppressor.
Prof. Sujat Khan said this is a protest which not made mandatory for Muslims by anyone but who feels pain of Palestinians can raise his voice against the atrocities by joining the protest. He said during this pandemic our Rehbar Syed Ali Khamenie has appealed to everyone that keeping in view the time of pandemic “we should at least fly the flag of Palestine to show the solidarity with the oppressed nation and raise a voice against the oppressor like America and Israel’’.
This protest is to mark the presence that Anjuman-e-Imamia has shown it’s solidarity with the Palestinian and it’s our duty to obey the Rehbar–e- Moazam Syed Ali Khamenei.
