JAMMU, Aug 18: Pushpa Devi, wife of Late Ved Parkash Goswami, retired Accountant General and mother of former Union Home Secretary, Anil Goswami, passed away at her Gandhinagar residence here today.
She was 93 and is survived by her three sons, Vinod Goswami, Chief Engineer (Retired); Pramod Goswami, Secretary (Retd) Central Warehousing Corporation; Anil Goswami, Home Secretary of India (Retd) and their families. She has also left behind grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a noble and pious lady and was always concerned about the welfare of others.
The cremation took place at Shastri Nagar cremation ground here this evening.
