SRINAGAR, Nov 25: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) contesting candidate from Sonawar Assembly segment, Dr Darakhshan Andrabi today appealed to the displaced Kashmiri Pandits to vote in good numbers for political change in the State.
In a statement issued after meeting with a delegation of the displaced Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) from Sonawar constituency, Dr Darakhshan said that she has always been a very strong voice of the distressed migrants and everyone is well aware of her practical association with the community during the past so many years.
“When during election times all political parties and representatives visit them in their migrant colonies for votes, I have relentless record of my practical association with my Kashmiri Pandit community of more than a decade. I share their pain and agony and request them to come out in large numbers to vote for her so that their voice resonates on the floor of the house,” said Dr Andrabi.
