DODA, Sept 19: Thathri police seized an ambulance carrying around 80 bottles of illicit liquor and arrested the driver.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Thathri Police Station laid a naka near Thathri bridge and intercepted an ambulance bearing registration number JK17-3791.
During checking, police seized around 80 bottles of illicit liquor from the ambulance and arrested the driver, who was identified as Kulwant Singh, son of Munshi Ram, a resident of Simna Colony District Kishtwar.
A case under FIR Number 76/2020 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Thathri and investigation started.
