Ambardar visits Jagti township, takes stock of problems

JAMMU, May 6: BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar today visited Jagti township to take stock of proceedings of different zonal offices as well as development works going on at the township
Ambardar visited the main Hospital building wherein officials of the Engineering Wing of the Relief Department informed the MLC that the work is still going on at the premises and that building is still not functional
BJP MLC told the concerned authorities that such kind of attitude will not be tolerated and that the pending work of the hospital should be completed by first week of July without any further delay or else strict action will be taken against those involved in unnecessary delay
Ambardar also visited the zonal offices of the Jagti township and asked the concerned officials as to why ration has not been distributed in time and that they should make sure that there should not be any delay as far ration supply to the displaced community is concerned and further added that the new ration cards should also be issued on time
While visiting the Primary Health Centre at the township MLC was appraised of the pathetic conditions under which the centre has been running as there is scarcity of staff, equipment and non availability of medicine. He also spoke to the patients present at the Centre and asked them if they are being treated properly. BJP MLC assured the concerned medical authorities that he will take up the issue with Health Ministry on utmost priority as no patient should suffer for want of proper medical facilities
MLC also paid a surprise visit to various ration depot’s to check the availability of ration and while speaking to the incharge of these depot’s he told them to make sure that all the ration is equally distributed without any fear or favour.
