Sir,
This is to refer to the article “Ambaran-A Heritage in the shambles” published in this paper on July 20. Not only Ambaran but many other heritage buildings, monuments and cultural sites in our country are in bad condition and nobody is concerned about them. Ambaran is the only site of Buddhist culture in Jammu region and Govt should pay attention for its preservation.
The authorities should not neglect this issue but to consider it on priority basis.
