SRINAGAR: Today, on the sixth day of the 40-day Yatra to holy Amarnath cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas, 16,876 yatris paid obeisance, an official spokesman said.
He said since the beginning of the pilgrimage from June 29, from both traditional Pahalgam and shortest Baltal tracks, 79,484 Yatris have had the darshan at the holy cave.
Majority of the pilgrims have since returned to their homes while some have extended their stay and are visiting tourist places in the valley. (UNI)
