SRINAGAR: Alleging that that previous regimes were responsible for financial instability, a ruling PDP member Firdous Tak came down heavily upon the opposition National Conference (NC) and Congress saying that both the parties have lost moral grounds to talk about special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
Initiating discussion on the resolution moved in the Legislative Council (LC) on Goods and Sales Tax (GST), the PDP legislators presented facts and figures to demonstrate how the two political parties eroded the basic constitutional position of the State thereby weakening it politically and economically.
“From 1952 to 2014 the NC and Congress together demolished the special status of the State and today their leaders are claiming themselves to be the champions of Kashmir”, he said. (AGENCIES)
