JAMMU, May 9: Election of E-Riksha Union was held today and S. Tejinder Pal Singh (Aman) was elected as Union chairman.
S. Gurpreet Singh Awal was elected as president, S. Joginder Singh, convener; S. Harbhajan Singh, general secretary; Atul Sharma, secretary and S. Charanjeet Singh, cashier.
The election was conducted under the supervision of S. Tejinder Pal Singh (Aman), a prominent youth leader and social activist of Guru Nanak Nagar.
The newly elected team of the Union appealed to the authorities concerned to allot stand to E-Rikshas in the area and fix rates of their charges.
