JAMMU, June 11: Once again proving its supremacy, ALLEN’s students have emerged victorious in India’s most prestigious engineering entrance examination IIT JEE Advanced, the result of which was announced by IIT Kanpur, recently.
According to Rajesh Maheshwari, Director of the institute, ALLEN’s Lay Jain has bagged AIR 9, followed by Neel Aryan Gupta on 10th AIR in JEE Advanced 2018. Along with 2 in Top 10, 11 students of ALLEN are in Top 30 AIR. The compilation of results is still going on.
Maheshwari added that Abhinav Kumar has acquired AIR-12, Saumya Goyal AIR-13, Shubham Gupta AIR-17, Karan Agarwalla AIR- 21. Moreover, Vipul Agarwal bagged AIR-22, Navneel Singhal AIR-23, Aditya Agarwal AIR-24, Parth Satish Laturia AIR-29 and Bhaskargot AIR-30. 11 students are in top 30, 18 students are in top 50 and 30 students are in top 100. These 22 students are from ALLEN Classroom program while the other 6 are from the DLP division.

He further added this year, for 11279 seats of IIT, a total of 155158 students appeared for the examination, out of which 18138 students were qualified for counseling of JEE-Advanced, including 8794 from general category, 3140 from OBC, 4709 from SC and 1495 from ST category. Students who have qualified both the subject and average cutoffs will be included in the merit list.
