JAMMU, June 7: ALLEN Career Institute has proved its excellence once again, as Dhyey Sankalp Gandhi, a student of class 10th at ALLEN Kota, has been selected for the final round of International Chemistry Olympiad.
According to Naveen Maheshwari, Director, ALLEN Career Institute, in the National Level Chemistry Olympiad conducted by the Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education based at Mumbai, 36 students participated from all over the country. He said that on the basis of theory and practical tests, final 4 students were selected who will represent India in the International Chemistry Olympiad which is to be held in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand from July 6 to 15.
Dhyey Sankalp Gandhi, a class 10th student at ALLEN’s Pre Nurture & Career Foundation Division, has been successfully selected in the team of 4 students to represent India in the final round of 49th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) and is now gearing up to win the Gold Medal for his country.
Not only this, but he has also been the highest scorer in all three levels of the competition and has bagged AIR in NSEC, IChO and OCSC. “Where, generally students from classes 11th and 12th participate in this examination, Dhyey bagging the top position, leaving the senior students behind, is a proud moment for the Institute”, said Maheshwari, adding, IChO is conducted in 5 rounds.
Despite of being just in Class 10th, Dhyey who has surpassed the students of 11th and 12th, aspires to do research. “My goal is to study from MIT (USA) after completing my under graduation from IIT”, Dhyey said, adding, he now wants to bag a Gold Medal for the country.
