JAMMU, July 14: To promote Dogra culture, All Jammu and Kashmir Choreographers Association Jammu was framed.
This was informed by JR Sharma (Jackson), President of the Association while talking to media persons here today.
Pt Naryan Parshad has been elected as Chairman of the Association, while Rakesh Kona as Vice Chairman, Narinder Nath (Bhardwaj) as Vice President, Satish Chandar as General Secretary, Suneel Uppal as Cashier, Satish Chander, Hardeep Jamwal and Rakesh Mehra as Advisors, Nitin Burkey and Yogeshwar Singh (Yogi) as Publicity Secretaries and Rohit Bains as Public Relation Officer (PRO), said Sharma.

“During COVID-19 pandemic, all the institutions remained closed. We have no other source of income and we are at the verge of starvation”, he said, adding that the artists always get their payments very late from the concerned department, which is also a matter of concern.
Sharma requested the concerned department to release the pending payments of the artists as soon as possible. He also requested all the schools to release their pending salaries.
