AKRS not to tolerate any statement regarding Maharaja Hari Singh

JAMMU, Jan 28: Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha (AKRS) held a meeting in connection with the resolution passed in upper house to declare holiday on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh.
While speaking, Narayan Singh, President, AKRS said that the legislators who spoke for withdrawal of resolution and also used ill words against the Maharaja Hari Singh is perhaps not aware that Maharaja is not only admired by the people of Jammu region only but was equally admired by the people of Kashmir and Ladakh also.
The legislators tried to present wrong history and forgotten the deeds of their leader that during their regime also in 2010, 116 innocent people died in Kashmir, Singh said, adding that the legislators should also not forget of what happened in the year 2008 in the history of Jammu and Kashmir.
“The Sabha welcomes the statement given by Devender Rana, MLA Nagrota in support of resolution passed regarding holiday on 23rd September, but also asked him to stop their party legislators by making any statement against Maharaja Hari Singh which will not be tolerated by the people of Jammu province and it will have adverse affect on law and order situation in the State”, Narayan Singh added.
Among others present were Judge Pavitar Singh, MS Katoch, MS Jamwal, Mangleshwar Singh, BS Jamwal, Pawan Chib and Narendar Singh Bhau.
