JAMMU, Dec 7: All Kashmiri Displaced United Front (AKDUF) delegation led by its president Piaray Lal Raina met Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, R K Pandita here, today and discussed the problems of the displaced people with him.
The meeting was follow up of the issues already taken up before the Parliamentary Sub Committee during its visit to Jammu on November 11.
The Relief Commissioner assured the delegation that he would look into the problems.
Among other issues the supply of medicines to camp dispensaries, financial assistance to patients suffering from chronic ailments, one time compensation to educated unemployed youth, construction of a play ground in Muthi 2nd, expediting process regarding issuance of State Subject & RBA certificates, supply of timely ration at depots, holding of interviews of candidates who have applied for various posts under PM package, proper management of community halls, enhancement of cash assistance and proper sanitation arrangements at TRTs of Muthi and Buta Nagar.
Veer Ji, Bittu Ji, A K Dhar, S N Koul, Ashok Ji, M K Pandita, Rakesh Pandita and Ramesh Bharti were the other members of the delegation.
