JAMMU, Aug 13: All India Students Federation (AISF) District Council Jammu celebrated its 82nd Foundation Day at Bishnah under the leadership of SCM & District president Jammu Com Ranbir Bandral and SCM Com Sanjay Kotwal.
Com G S Charak was the chief guest of the programme, which was attended by a number of students.
Com Ranbir Bandral threw light on the history of AISF, which was founded by students on 12-13 August 1936 with the slogan of Peace, Progress and Freedom, with the guidance of freedom fighters and revolutionaries of that time.
State Council Member Com Sanjay Kotwal said that it was the responsibility of the students to overcome the barriers of existing time and maintaining the socialistic, secular and democratic values.
G S Charak threw light on electoral reforms, Article 35A, and Psychological tension of ruling parties in Jammu and Kashmir.
