AIPRUF vows to continue struggle for restoration of Old Pension Scheme

JAMMU, Mar 6: Reiterating its resolve to continue struggle for the restoration of Old Pension Scheme, All India Pension Restoration United Front(AIPRUF) and Jammu Kashmir Teachers Association (JKTA) today announced to hold protests at Jammu and Srinagar on March 28.
Decision in this regard was taken during a meeting of AIPRUF and JKTA, held here today to discuss the future course of action regarding the restoration of the Old age pension scheme.
The meeting was presided over by Bhupinder Singh, national convener AIPRUF/ UT President JKTA, who demanded scrapping of the New Pension Scheme and restoration of old pension scheme. The meeting was attended by the representatives of various employees unions.
On the occasion, J&K UT level body of the All India Pension Restoration United Front was also constituted with Tirth Singh Balwal as UT Convenor, Abida War as Coordinator, Ray Raj Thakur as Advisor, Altaf Rasool as Organisor, Pardeep Choudhary as Chief Publicity Secretary, Narinder Nagra as Joint Secretary, Shah Aashiq as Press Secretary, Surinder Khajuria as Spokesperson and Farooq Daing as Secretary.
AIPRUF also appointed District Convenors of all ten Districts of Jammu division. These include Sikander Lal for Jammu, Sudesh Kumar for Udhampur Kapoor Chand Sharma for Reasi, Mohd Shafiq Chuhan for Poonch, Mani Ram for Kathua, Saqib Rounyal for Ramban, Ganesh Thakur for Kishtwar, Poonam Thakur for Doda , Subash Lal for Samba and Mohd Sadiq Poswal for Rajouri.
