JAMMU, Nov 16: All India Other Backward Classes Federation Unit Jammu held a meeting under the chairmanship of Madan Lal Chalotra.
The executive body members took stock of the situation arisen due to declaration of J&K State as Union Territory.
While speaking, Chalotra said that OBC people living in other Union Territories are getting 27 per cent reservation, but in Jammu and Kashmir it is not beyond 2 per cent. By not implementing the reservation quota at par with other UTs, the J&K Government is cheating the innocent hard working OBC people, he added.
“The future of the OBC youth is heading towards darkness due to the vested interest of the self styled workers, who are habitual of giving unhealthy statements”, Clalotra said, adding that the PBC people are suffering due to some vested interests, who have already out from the federation and creating confusion among the OBC people.
He appealed to the OBC people to vote in favour of Congress party candidates because BJP leadership has failed to provide 27 per cent reservation at par with other Union Terriroties.
