JAMMU, Mar 13: All India Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AIMCCC) in its meeting today at Jagti township held under the leadership of its president Desh Rattan Pandita demanded that a Mini Fire Service Station be established at Jagti township in view of the fire incidents taking place there.
The meeting said that the inmates of the township are facing it difficult to douse the blaze in case of a wild fire as fire tender has to reach from Roop Nagar which takes a lot of time and by that period the fire causes a huge damage as has happened in case of the fire which engulfed the flat of Dazy Bazaz two days back.
The meeting, while expressing its satisfaction over the immediate step taken by the Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner in allotting the other quarter to victim family and providing relief to it, demanded that the same treatment be given to other families who have also suffered loss due to fire in the township earlier.
