JAMMU, June 2: A delegation of All India Migrant Camps Coordination Committee (AIMCCC) met Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar and submitted a memorandum of problems being faced by displaced KP community and discussed them one by one with him here ,today.
The problems discussed included digging of bore wells at Jagti township, providing of safe drinking water to the camp which faces water scarcity, benefits of various Government schemes to women folk of displaced people, release of balance ex-gratia for burnt and damaged houses and other properties of migrants, settling of PM package employees demands and relocating them outside Valley, settling of medical claims of migrants and transfer of over stayed employees in relief organisation.
The delegation was led by Desh Rattan Pandita and others who accompanied him included J L Raina, B K Raina, B K Wantoo, Sagar Koul, T N Koul and others.
