AIMCCC asks Govt to settle problems of displaced Pandits

JAMMU, Sept 22: All India Migrant Camp Coordination Committee, (AIMCCC) demanded settlement of displaced Pandits and solving their all pending problems.
A meeting of AIMCCC was held at Jagti township, under the leadership of its president, Desh Ratten Pandita. It urged the Government to solve the genuine problems of KPs residing outside Valley, since 1989-90.
AIMCCC chief said ,their organization took up the issue regarding release ration to migrants which was stopped by Government ,since July this year. It took up the issue with Chief Secretary, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Director FCS &CA Jammu for to release of ration. These officer’s assured that they will take the matter with concerned Union Minister and get the ration released.
He said now Government has agreed to release the ration for which we compliment the officers for their positive response and approach towards the displaced Pandits problems.
Desh Ratten said, AIMCCC will again strive for solving other problems which are pending since a long time. AIMCCC will try it’s best to solve problems of displaced farmers on priority basis.
He said peace will never prevail until KPs rehabilitation is made. He also warned the self styled leaders misleading the community and detracting from real issues.
