AIKS Trust holds meeting with representatives of camps

JAMMU, May 3: Coordinator AIKS Trust Prof C L Sadhu and its founder member organised a meeting with parents, social activists, representatives from Muthi and Nagrota Camps as well as Jagti township inmates at Jagti in which it was decided to further provide the pecuniary assistance to the extreme needy cases in camps both at elementary /middle standard level during the current academic session.
As per a release the meeting also decided to provide assistance to few unaffordable cases undergoing technological / medical or general education courses at college / university level. It expressed concern over the deletion of names of some deserving students who were already recommended for assistance by the Trust and said these cases will be reviewed.
The meeting discussed modalities for free coaching for the current academic session of the selective students at the senior secondary level at Jagti and it was resolved that  guideline  under preparation will be discussed by the representatives with the concerned Principal / AIKS team members.
The meeting was attended by Dwarika Nath Thussu, Raj Kumar Kukroo, J L Raina, Rajesh Dhar, M L Bhat, Romesh Raina, and Sanjay Sharma. For welfare of displaced students in camps and non camps AIKS Trust nominated former Apex Committee member Roshan Lal Raina as its president, Ravinder Raina, Munuji Tickoo as vice presidents, Vinod K Tickoo as convener, Sanjay Raina as general secretary, Sameer Pandita as secretary, and Rajinder Dhar as convener.
