JAMMU, Sept 26: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) in a meeting chaired by the Union president, Abdul Majid Malik decided to boycott the census of 2021 in case there is no column of OBC.
Speakers in the meeting appealed OBCs of J&K and rest of the country to not to allow any census employee entre their house if there is no separate OBC column in the census form.
Meanwhile, the AIBCU has appointed Abdul Majid Qureshi of Rajouri Khas as its Coordinator and Parbodh Chander Jasyal of Choudhary Nad as Co-Coordinator for twin districts of Poonch and Rajouri.
Dr Mohd Lateef Ahanger of Mandi Poonch was made General Secretary of Employees Wing of Poonch.
Participants in the meeting were Som Dutt Fotra, Jia Lal Verma, Shashi Verma, Som Lal, Mohd Rasid Fouji, Kewal Krishan Fotra, Ajay Tripathi, Surinder Verma, Rakesh, Gurmeet Singh, Sandokh, Rafique Ahanger, M.R Bangotra, Sonia Verma, president and Vipan Kumari, working president of AIBCU Women Wing.
