AIBCU holds meet, discusses reservation

JAMMU, Sept 15: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) Ramnagar held a meeting under the chairmanship of Sham Lal Verma.
Speaking in the meeting Union President, Des Raj expressed resentment against the Government as far as reservation is concerned.
Union General Secretary, Ram Lal raised the issue of Backward Classes Commission (BCC) and said neither the chairman nor the members in BCC are OBCs. He also said that AIBCU rejects and boycotts the Commission till its reorganization.
Hem Raj, Vice President; Sagar Chand, Jeevan Kumar, Rajinder Kumar, Jagdish Kumar, Charan Dass and others demanded immediate implementation of Mandal report.
Makhan Lal Verma, chief guest appealed OBCs to remain united.
Prof Kali Dass also shared his views telephonically and claimed that political parties want to dilute the agenda of implementation of Mandal report by raising the issue of statehood which is not the issue of AIBCU.
